BRANDING & CONTENT SESSION WITH JERMAINE FOWLER

Jermaine reached out to me wanting to book a session to create new content & images to use for his project “TheHumanity Archive.” This session our goal was to create visuals that he could use for his website, podcast, newsletters, book, social media and more! I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Fowler. about his person, his passion and craft are unparalleled. I have collected a few screenshots from his website that I felt the images we made were used in such a thoughtful way. I will post a link to his website here where you can learn more about his project and see the images we made in full display.

The pictures are phenomenal!!! Best ever. Outstanding. There are so many good ones I have no idea how I’m going to choose. Podcast cover, website, social media all covered. You captured everything I want to portray with The Humanity Archive. Thank you.

I will now proudly say “my” photographer is Mickie Winters, and as I need more photos with the book and anything else in the future you’ll be the first person I call. Thanks again.

The Humanity Archive is a curiosity-driven community of lifelong learners. Using history as a foundation, we explore the experiences of humanity to enrich our lives and transform the world.

The Humanity Archive Podcast tells stories from the margins.

The Humanity Archive Podcast focuses on the overlooked narratives in the pages of the past. Challenging dominant perspectives, Jermaine Fowler goes outside the textbooks to find stories that are recognizably human. Connecting current issues with the heroic struggles of those who’ve come before us, he brings hidden history to light and makes it powerfully relevant.

My name is Jermaine Fowler, and I’m the founder of The Humanity Archive. Before that, I worked in business administration. I’ve lived my whole life in pursuit of knowledge. Constantly in the library and carrying around books as a kid, I earned the nickname “the professor.”

While getting my undergraduate I thought long and hard about getting a Ph.D. in history or sociology, but business seemed like a more practical choice to pay the bills. It was a passionless job. I wanted to learn and teach and I never gave up on that dream. After years of dedication to scholarship and storytelling, I launched this website and podcast and was able to go full-time to running The Humanity Archive in 2021.

I was overwhelmed with the support of others like me; the intellectually curious, the public library aficionados, people seeking out the hard truths of history they never learned in school, those who see lifelong learning as the cornerstone of human transformation, and the ones wanting an empowering community seldom found in a classroom or ivory tower. From this, The Humanity Archive was born.

All the best,

Jermaine Fowler
